Valletta House
Valletta House.
My most favourite place in the whole World...
Valetta House is one of the oldest houses in Bray Co.Wicklow,
Built in the early 1700's, it was an old Huguenot school house...
It has stood standing tall and proud for over 300 years!
When we first moved in it looked like a squat house, it was in bits,
rubbish and junk everywhere and we have put in many hours to
bring this house back to life! And a wonderful collection of
Magpie Eye's treasures and finds of funny old furniture and ornaments
Antiques and anything that looks pretty.......
Home is where the Heart is!....
And we even got the old Aga going, after being turned off for about 10years.
The Kitchen is the Heart of the Home!
and the warmest place in the house, the house is cold, very cold, Freezing!
The Garden is Rambling, full of old Rose's and all sorts of flowers that are yet to come out...
The Box-Hedge leads down to a little Orchard of very old Apple trees, and more Raspberry bushes than you could count.....
